Classic Ghanaian Salad

Ghana is not only known for its lush forests and diverse animal life but also for their amazing food. In the southern part of Ghana the staple foods are cassava and plantain. The main staple foods in the northern part are millet and sorghum. Other staple foods that are used across Ghana include Yam, maize and beans. Sweet potatoes as well as cocoyam are very important when it comes to Ghanaian diet and cuisine.
